Introducing Qwell
This week, the UOK service delivered by Southdown is promoting their new digital mental health support platform Qwell.
Provided by Kooth Digital Health, Qwell is a mental health and wellbeing support service for adults providing safe, anonymous, and instant access to online support 24/7, all year round.
Accredited by the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and approved by Mind it provides effective online mental health support from that first moment-of-need - with no waiting lists, no costs, and no stigma.
The service is part of the UOK in Brighton & Hove and East Sussex offer, delivered by Southdown and funded by NHS Sussex, Brighton & Hove City Council and East Sussex County Council.
Benefits include:
- Free, immediate, and out-of-hours support
- Improved access by addressing geographic and mobility barriers, and personal preference away from face-to-face
- Early intervention and prevention
- Prompts for self-care, peer support, and personalised coping strategies and tools
- For translation needs, you can contact Sussex Interpreting Services, or Google Translate can be used.
