Dr Verma was born and raised in London. She trained at Manchester Medical School and qualified in 1994. She has been working as GP since  2000. She has travelled widely and worked overseas in both Australia and India. She was a partner at a GP practice in a Brixton and worked there for 11 years.  She moved to Brighton in 2004 and has been working in East Sussex since 2010.

The thing that she most enjoys about general practice is the continuity of care that GP's can provide and being a family doctor. She has a specialist interest in dermatology and medical student teaching. She is currently involved in teaching of Brighton and Sussex Medical School students. She will always ask for your consent if she has students observing her consultations.

She enjoys hiking, cycling and running.
